my weekend~

sigh..i know i should blog on my mt buller trip as i promised on my previous post, but i just don't feel like writing the post at the moment, so.....i'll post it next time can?? it's not really procrastinating since i'm still updating! just that i'm updating different stuffs instead :P

went grocery shopping @ northland with phyllis yesterday, and we had lunch at sushi sushi, not bad, but i still prefer kinsahi's sushis..

guess what? i bought a box of SUPER HUGE strawberries that only costed me $1.90!!! it's super cheap since there's around 9-10 super huge strawberries per box :D

and it's great to sink your teeth in one of these amazingly sweet strawberries!

but i reckon that the best best best way of eating a strawberry is to eat it with chocolate ice cream (some say with warm, melted chocolate but i think that's a bit sick for me)

the idea of stuffing chocolate ice cream into the strawberry is actually inspired by yong tau foo..LOL!

'mmmmmmm~~' to the max!

oh oh and i had awesome+authentic korean dinner prepared by emily (my tower RA's girlfriend) and her korean friends..will upload the pics as soon as i get em! can't believe i actually finished a bottle of beer (dun tell my parents ah...shhhhh), but really had fun last nite!

yep here comes the highlight of my week --- sunday market!! it's pretty much similar to the pasar malams in malaysia, and it reminds me of those really nice moments i had with my dinner gang, the times when we go to nilai pasar malam by bus..

handmade soaps! it comes with all sorts of different smells eg strawberry, peach, frangipani,lavender etc etc...thinking of buying these as a souvenir for my friends back home!

super duper yummy GOZLEME (turkish mountain bread)!! it totally made my day man. there were lots of people queueing up for it!

the taste is actually 98% similar to murtabak (a type of indian prata thingy with meat inside), yummy yummy~



oh and this is the thing that really freaked me out...

mexican walking fish! eeewwww~i think ALL amphibians are gross, let it be frogs, toads or this mexican walking fish.

if i'm not mistaken, it's called 娃娃鱼 in chinese, meaning "doll-fish"..

umm are they..mating? if so, there'll be even more mexican walking fishes in the future and that will be even more gross *faint faint faint*

beautiful flowers at affordable prices!

last but not least, Homer and Bart Simpson being 'hanged'! lol~
