SUMMIT camp!

sorry for the overdue post..here i am to blog about the christian camp i went during the hols! it's called SUMMIT camp! and it's in Phillip island! i've been there once tho, with my family when i was eleven..it was frrreeezing in the beach (even tho it's summer in aussie), and we sat there patiently just to wait for the tiny penguins to appear.

and lots of people warned me about the extremely cold weather and constantly reminded me to bring more clothing before i head off to phillip island, coz the winter in phillip island is definitely gonna be colder compared to winter in melbourne. But when i reached there, it was surprisingly warm! thank God for the great weather especially during the day, despite several showers during the night time.

there were a lot of praise and worship sessions, and really great talks delivered by Andrew Reid (on Daniel chapters) and Simon (on Revelation). I find the talks really good in the sense that it's applicable to our daily lives.

Day 2

We walked to the beach in the afternoon and took lots of random+crazy photos

Day 3

Sruggled to get out of bed at 6.50am, and off we went to the beach to watch the sunrise!

After breakfast I shared my testimony..talked about how I started to build relationship with God when I was in Form 1..that was the time when i felt really depressed, but God's words are always strong enough to support me, and He's my source of joy and peace =)

feedback was good, but to the wrong people!!

Aussies just couldn't tell us apart!! i mean..yeah three of us are short haired asians with red hoodies, but still...we still look very different don't we???

hahaha...sarah (the girl on the right) was telling me tt so many aussies approached her and said :"Good job Eve!" "Thanks for sharing the testimony! It was great" .. i was like ROFL! yeah but i really appreciated tt, at least i was able to talk and share my testimony on the stage without butterflies in my stomach, hee.

and irene (the girl on the left) told me the same thing too.. :"XX came to me and asked 'are you Eve?' " hahahaha~~i think to many aussies, most asians look the same ><

Day 4

Good stuffs i bought! i'm currently reading "The Reason for God"..it's so good that i can't take my eyes off the book (literally)

and here it comes to the highlight! the theme of the night was "Superheroes vs Supervillains"...i dressed up as a secret agent! and marian was the buttercup!

i thought she'd be sth like...carbo girl or sth like that, until felicia told me she's super-market! haha...

Talent Night! everyone got all dressed-up!

Lachlan the Superman (i think there were a total of 3 people dressed up as superman that night) playing solo bass! so cool.

had fun that night...

and the next day we went back to melb after lunch..thanks Pete for driving sarah and i back! hee~and the weather was wonderful :)
